小表弟成家立室，婚宴選於二人初次邂逅嘅京都舉辦，自小就有份縱佢嘅小肥表哥當然係要請假出席啦！應哥哥安排，XO仔同媽咪就入住喺「京都凱悅酒店」（Hyatt Regency Kyoto）。十月中旬剛巧遇上特別祭典，市內嘅酒店大多早已爆滿，即使半年前訂房都只剩雙床客房「2 Twin Beds」。日本酒店有個共通點，就係空調溫度偏高，幸好牀牀舒適，浴室光猛潔淨，配套都好齊全。凱悅環球客每天可免費享用「cafe 33」嘅自助早餐。咖啡廳開揚通爽，光線柔和，由於四周拍照時被告知有客人感到不安，最終就冇影到散座如何分佈。近窗位置可見室外有個禪式庭院，感覺尤其幽靜。酒店餐廳早餐時間為七點至十點半。正價餐牌所示，自助早餐原價4,500円/位。包享自助飲食區內嘅多款果汁、咖啡、茶。西式嘅麵包、沙律、凍肉、芝士、乳酪、生果、穀物、等冷盤。當中亦有不少湯、粥、腸仔、煙肉、蕃茄、蛋蛋、薯菜等熱食選擇。最正就係即叫即煮嘅精選主菜。煎太陽蛋鮮軟流心。熱辣辣嘅奄列脹卜卜，自選蘑菇及菠菜餡料足量香潤。金黃嘅西多士鬆軟尤甚，塗上雪白嘅忌廉及藍莓果醬成功添上柔滑及香甜，十分可口。「京都凱悅酒店」設於「cafe 33」嘅早餐高質豐富，新鮮味佳，自助餐飲區域衛生企理，五星級酒店服務專業周到，絕對有信心嘅保證。

朝早八點幾由香港家中出發，抵達「京都凱悅酒店」已經係當地晚上七點過後！幸好辦理入住手續時同姐姐仔寒喧，提及放抵行李後諗住喺附近食碗熱烏冬或者拉麵作晚餐，佢即告知區內嘅餐店其實好多都收咗舖，眼見細佬手上有哂地圖同電話，仲即場幫忙續一打去確認，以免行動有少少不便嘅媽咪白行一趟，真心感激！當真如佢所料，三間麵檔唔係已經關門都準備打烊，所以就提議一試酒店日本料理「東山」嘅烏冬。五星級酒店嘅服務絕對值得一讚再讚，殷勤溫婉嘅櫃檯姐姐竟然親自帶領二人前往樓下餐廳，確保有位坐之餘仲可以點到烏冬食，相當有交帶！駐場嘅真子妹妹見到小肥全套XO仔裝備，仲介紹市內購買精品好地點，體貼友善得很！酒店餐廳以石及木為主嘅裝潢優雅有氣質，用餐大堂開揚通爽。木造枱櫈乾爽衛生，桌上擺有齊備嘅自用筷子、餐巾及濕巾。嘻嘻，大堂中央嘅清酒陣最高效益就係喚醒咗細佬體內嘅酒蟲。由於「京都凱悅酒店」並未設置貴賓室，凱悅環球客每日於酒店範圍內可享一杯指定歡迎飲品，其中於「東山」可從一頁酒牌內揀選任何杯裝酒酒。喺飛機上已經飲咗香檳，自己一向唔溝得，結果當然係繼續檳檳啦！一頁英文版散點餐牌簡單易明，所有項目單價已含10%稅及13%服務費。Prawn Tempura Udon（2,400円）：熱辣辣嘅稻庭烏冬麵條煙韌有嚼勁，浸於清湯內嘅兩隻天婦羅蝦層炸皮軟腍鬆化，蝦身爽厚彈牙，勁量嘅大蔥足以為麵品添上芬芳。酒店餐廳「東山」環境雅致大方，餐飲清香美佳，可能飛機餐實在太恐怖，餓得太耐，連雀仔肚媽咪都可以食哂成碗熱烏冬，遇上專業親切嘅服務生，感覺尤其窩心！

《ぎをん 藤》是Tabelog百名店2023的其中一間，由藤元健司先生於2020年4月開業。藤元先生早前在Ritz Carlton 的《天麩羅 水暉》擔任料理長的期間，餐廳連續3年獲得米芝蓮一星的殊榮。 《ぎをん 藤》只有8席吧台位及一間4人包箱，需要預先在tablecheck.com預訂座位及料理。 ❈ 套餐 15,000yen (稅入18,150yen) 前菜，茶碗蒸，沙律，天婦羅(蝦*2，魚*1，帶子*1，牛肉*1，蔬菜*5，胡麻豆腐配海膽)，漬物，飯(三選一)， 麵豉湯，甜品 天婦羅麵衣比較薄，不會容易有油膩感覺。每份天婦羅都由藤元先生一件一件在席前準備，亦都會推薦每件天婦羅應配鹽或醬油。 其中天婦羅胡麻豆腐超級滑配鮮甜海膽，入口即化； 紫蘇牛柳天婦羅是藤元先生的名菜，外脆內軟，切開後牛柳是半生熟狀與紫蘇葉一起吃有一種關西獨有的味道。 飯品方面，我選擇了天婦羅蓋飯，份量恰好。最後是雪糕和生果。 這次用餐體驗完全感受到店主對食材及烹調的用心，對客人的服務也非常好，非常值得一試。

京都超有人氣的麵包店，是Tabelog百名店常客，在日本東京，大阪，京都合共10間分店。這次在京都的今出川店本店吃早餐，整間小店充滿著法國情懷，在牆壁上可以看到客人留下的訊息，我看到最舊的是1999年。一進店立刻被麵包的種類震驚到。店舖不大，座位不多，選擇堂食的話建議先找位子才去選麵包。付款後，店員會把麵包加熱和切開小份拿到你的座位。麵包還是熱的比較好吃，很推薦到京都去這裡試試看。 ❈ 法式可頌 / 杏仁可頌 240yen / 390yen 法式可頌有滿滿的奶油香味但不油膩，口感酥脆扎實。杏仁可頌是在可頌上加上特製的醬和杏仁片，不甜不膩，味道剛剛好。 絕對是必吃！ ❈ 水果派 377yen 這次點了兩款水果派，梨子和橘子。橘子派甜度適中，最欣賞的是中間的卡士達醬都充滿橘子的味道，好美味。至於梨子派，味道清甜但沒有橘子派味道那麼重。

第一次嚟到宇治，睇網上推介咗呢間舖，就過嚟試吓，門口就有賣各種抹茶類嘅產品，當然即刻撳咗飛等排隊食嘢！佢呢間鋪主要買嘅多為茶類、糖、蛋糕！都有好多日本人喺度排隊食嘢，等多半個鐘到終於入咗去！因為時間太夜就剩返麵 嗌咗個炸腐皮抹茶湯麵，一嚟到濃濃嘅抹茶味加茶魚湯味，淨係聞都覺得好香，面頭仲有煮到好似菜咁嘅抹茶碎，一碗青BB！佢呢個麵係抹茶蕎麥麵，食落去每一條麵都有淡淡嘅抹茶味而又唔會冚咗茶魚湯嘅味道，食過先知原來呢兩隻味咁match！ 下次去到一定會再食

Last night in Kyoto and tried this resto which was nearby our Airbnb. . I got Tempura Udon, which was hot udon served with prawn tempura. Since the tempura was soaked into the soup, it was unfortunately not that crispy. The broth was clear though. My bro got Soppa Udon, which was hot udon served with flavoured beef shank. My sis ordered Niku Udon, which was hot udon served with flavoured beef. My dad got Kake Udon, which was hot udon served with fish paste cake. He also got Inari Sushi, which tasted subtly sweet. The Cooked Pork was the most impressive dish. The fat and meat was balancedly portioned and the sauce enhanced some sweetness to it. . The resto was quite small, yet it was tidy and neat.

After visiting the Imperial Palace, we were starving and my brother randomly discovered this resto nearby. . I got Hamburg Steak and Fried Chicken Rice Set. The hamburg steak was savoury and firm, while the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. The portion was huge, making them great food to enjoy with rice. My bro got Fried Chicken Rice Set. His fried chicken was served with generous portion as well, and he appreciated that the chicken was not greasy at all. It was very meaty and smelled aromatic. My sis got Sashimi Rice Set. She thought the sashimi was fresh and evenly sliced. She esp appreciated the tuna becoz of its fatness. My dad got Tempura Rice Set, while my mom had Chicken Udon Set. For the rice set, it had a sunny-side-up egg yolk on top of the rice. The shrimp tempura was crunchy. Not sure abt the Chicken Udon though coz I didn't try it. . The staff arranged us to sit on the tatami, so we had a typical Japanese dining experience. The food was quite economical and served with generous portion, so I thought it was of great value for money.

My sis discovered this resto which was near to the Koyto International Manga Museum, so we intentionally visited there. . Four of us ordered the Hachiku. The broth was mild soup blended with various soy sauce and shellfish.The ramen was firm to the point and the charsiu pork was tender and smooth. The broth was clear but really savoury, making it not heavy to have. The egg yolk of the soft-boiled egg was runny too. My dad got Kurochiku. The broth was dark coloured soy sauce with wine, therefore it tasted heavier than ours. The yuzu in the ramen reduced the greasiness of the dish. The charsiu pork was huge. Additionally, my sis ordered Pork Rice Bowl too. She appreciated how the oil of the pork sipped into the rice, making the dish smell really nice. The pork was tasty and soft as well. . A really small resto which was separated into two floors. We waited for a while even we went there at around 1400. Super economical and yummy. Big chance to encore if I revisit Kyoto.

Basic Takoyaki (JPY260) . Went to the Nishiki Market and discovered this takoyaki shop. . My sis ordered the Basic Takoyaki which came with six pieces. Its skin was very soft, but its interior did not have lots of octopus. As it was immediately made, the takoyaki was hotly-served and fresh. Adding the mayo sauce enhanced its tastiness. . Even though it didn't have lots of octopus, the takoyaki was really cheap, so my sis thought it was of great value of money. . One could only do take away. Be aware that the front of the shop was quite crowded.

Went to Arashiyama on the second day and went to this tofu resto which my sis really wanna visit. . My bro and I got the Zaru Chilled Yuba Udon. Soaked in a bucket of ice, the udon was really refreshing. Dipping it with the specially-made sauce enhanced its savoury. The tofu egg was smooth and soft. My sis got the Saga Set. Her set included a yudofu (boiled tofu) with condiments and tofu skin. She was happy that a wide array of tofu dishes were included and felt each tofu dish was delicious. My dad got the Kyo Yuba Ankake Set, while my mom got the Teoke Kumiage Yuba Set. My dad's set included tempura, while my mom's set had a bucket of tofu skin. Didn't try the two sets so I wont comment on them. . The taste was rather plain, so ppl who preferred heavy taste food may not like this resto. But if you love tofu, this resto may suit u. . Their menu included English and Chinese, so you wont face huge difficulties while ordering. They only accepted cash so rmb to bring sufficient cash while visiting. Also, we waited for quite a while to enter the resto, so one shd be mentally prepared for this.

我對又靚又美味既芭菲杯真係完全沒有抵抗力款式很多，花多眼亂，有很多款都好想試🤩🤩但京都以抹茶聞名，所以最後揀選咗抹茶味😝當中的栗子同紅豆都很美味😋🥰除了價錢有點貴之外，其他都沒有缺點

去京都點都要試一下當地既鰻魚飯，果然無令我失望，醬汁也不錯真係好好味呀！oishi還特地加玉子鰻魚肝湯也很好喝有驚喜店舖鄰近八阪神社及花見小路，剛好在附近拍完照，很方便啊！

作為喺京都食既第一餐飯，就揀咗red rock 既牛肉飯作為旅程美好既開始先在店外既售賣機揀選自己想食既嘢再付款，再入內找位置坐低等候一陣就有得食，好方便成個牛肉飯都好好食，厚薄適中，混合埋醬汁成個配搭好好，重點是1000 yen也不用就可以食到呢個質素，好抵呀！red rock在日本都有好多分店，下次再去日本既話，我都會想再食多幾次同埋試埋餐牌內其他唔同既款，相信都會喺好好味既，其他嚟日本玩既遊客都可以試下red rock經濟實惠又好食
