Introduction
Äta in Daikanyama has been extremely popular since its opening in 2012. The interior of the restaurant is based on the concept of a bistro in a European port town, and the chef's taste is evident throughout, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's name, which means "to eat" in Swedish, reflects our desire to simply enjoy eating. The chef is Tetsuji Kakegawa. The menu mainly consists of seafood dishes that boldly use shrimp in the shell, shellfish, and fish with plenty of meat on the bones. The signature dish, the bouillabaisse, is a hearty dish that uses a whole seasonal fish, mussels, squid, shrimp, etc. on a platter. A wide variety of fish dishes, prepared using French techniques, are all served on large plates. With a glass of chilled white wine in hand, enjoy sharing a feast with close friends.
