This is a fantastic "go to" restaurant near Omotesando station with a variety of yakitori, grilled and fried meats, and other dishes. The service is outstanding (the manager does an expert job of hiring!) and the restaurant features a push-button call system that makes ordering very easy and relaxing. Although the staff generally do not speak much English, the restaurant does have a convenient, large English menu that enables non-Japanese literate patrons to simply point and order. Prices are quite reasonable and the value for money is aligned to the neighborhood. "Go to" menu items include the lovely chicken wings, chicken meatball skewers with raw egg, wagyu beef cubes, tempura-fried prawns with mayonnaise, and chicken with egg on rice. A delicious cold and savory custard is served as a kind of Amuse Busche. I was not brave enough to sample the raw horse meat, but it is a featured item on the menu with a variety of different cuts. My only criticism is that certain menu items seem to lean a bit too rare/raw (in particular the chicken liver and seared duck), but that is really a matter of my own personal preference and others may easily enjoy this style.   continue reading
