My first day in Tokyo, we'll start the journey with 1 star Michelin Italian restaurant in Ginza - Aromafresca. A prefixed menu was offered. Fine, you better be good! My first day in Tokyo, we'll start the journey with 1 star Michelin Italian restaurant in Ginza - Aromafresca. A prefixed menu was offered. Fine, you better be good! As there are 11 courses so I think I should only talk about the good ones.

Dish # 2 the charcoal grilled red king crab salad was amazing. The texture of the half raw half cooked king crab made a very good aperitif.

Dish # 3 I swapped the eel with white asparagus. So fresh and the sauce was very well prepared. One of the best asparagus I can find in this planet.

Dish # 5 Spaghetti Meat Sauce was very Al Dente. Cooked just right where the outside is soft and inside is just a little hard, hard enough to get the chewy senses. My favorite dish for the night.

Dish # 9 "Kinka Buta" Grilled Port is probably the best western pork dish I had and probably also the fattest pork dish I had. Very well cooked and flavored with sichuan peppers and star anise.

Overall this is an excellent restaurant. With some Asian fusion here I think this may not be the most traditional Italian food but it is almost magic to combine local ingredients with good Italian culinary. Fantastic meal.

P.S. the renovation here is clean and elegant. Not too much of a good utilization of space for the owner but excellent for the customer.
