Sustainable Lunchtime in Shibuya
2021-07-15

Following the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Japan's push to help eradicate poverty and to promote global sustainability includes 17 goals and 169 targets. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 is Zero Hunger. To help realize this goal, the food industry has been pushing for wider consumer acceptance of "fake meats" like lab-cultured or plant-based meat.

As a major shopping and dining destination, Shibuya is a great area to try Japan's substitute meats. Check out the shops below for a healthy and sustainable meal!
