[2021] Michelin Green Stars of Japan
2021-07-01
The Green Star is a new reward launched in 2020 to celebrate sustainable and environmentally responsible gastronomy. Japan received 13 Green Stars- 6 in Tokyo, 5 in Kyoto, and 2 in Osaka.

Restaurant Lature

Opened in August of 2016, this French establishment has been a consistent 1 Star Michelin restaurant since 2018. Their commitment to using game meat, underused fish species, and self-grown vegetables set an example on how fine dining can help tackle today’s food problems. Lature is located a 6 minute walk from Omotesando Station’s  B1 Exit.
