This restaurant is a 2 minute walk from Watanabedori station where you can enjoy delicious food that is not too expensive in a fun, old fashioned Japanese-style house. On their must try specialties, they have a color box of the day for 989 JPY, and the contents will change depending on the seafood that is delivered on that day, Beef tendon cooked with Doro (296 JPY) and Square Pork Skewers (296 JPY). On their recommended menu, they have 4 taro mapo croquette for 549 JPY.

This restaurant is a 4 minute walk from Tenjinminami station and offers a modern, fun, and casual atmosphere with all counter seats. You can enjoy high quality beef such as Kuroge Wagyu beef from Kyushu that will be grilled right in front of you! Their menu has a variety of creative meat dishes using rare and high quality parts. On their dinner menu, the number one recommendation is the Niku Maru set 4,620 JPY with 4 types of yakiniku including rare cuts. In addition, they have other delicious food on their menu.

This restaurant is about a 7 minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Tenjin Station and is known for representing Hakata food. They serve 4 types of top grade Motsunabe which are made with carefully selected domestic offal. They offer course meals such as the Kiwami course for 4,510 JPY and can order all you can drink for an additional 1,760 JPY to any course. You can also order a hot pot for 2 people.

A 5 minute walk from Tenjin station, this outdoor food stall has a friendly atmosphere and a large menu with many choices. On the recommended menu, they have chewy gyoza for 650 JPY and Hakata Guru Maki 700 JPY. In addition, they have Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen 600 JPY, Teppanyaki pork belly 900 JPY and free range chicken Teppanyaki 900 JPY. *They may have days when they are closed irregularly, so please contact the restaurant in advance.

RestaurantNiwakaya Chosuke JRJP Hakata Building

Chosuke Kaya is a well-known Izakaya that serves Fukuoka Udon that is made from a very popular Itoshima wheat that is very chewy and delicious. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with walls lined with seasonal, specialty menus and they have semi private rooms that can hold up to 20 people for group events. They have courses from 5,280 JPY and a popular recommended item is Chicken soup Atsukake Udon for 1,045 JPY. In addition, they have sashimi, fried food, meat dishes and other udon.

RestaurantKawataro Nakasu Main store

This restaurant is about a 10 minute walk from Nakasu Kawabata station. They not only serve fresh fish from the Genkai sea, but you can see the flock of fish swimming in a tank right in front of your table! For lunch, they have a live squid set meal for 3,850 JPY. For dinner, they have courses from 6,600 JPY. The contents of the course may change depending on the season.
