Normally, people go to this park with a group of people (family or friends) to have a picnic known as “Hanami”.  Unfortunately due to Coronavirus this year in 2022, big groups are not able to have Hanami celebrations, however people are allowed to enter the park to enjoy the cherry blossoms while walking or dining in one of the many restaurants and cafes in the park.
