Michelin Guide Osaka 2023 has been announced. All three-star, two-star restaurants and Green Star restaurants maintain their rank from last year. As newcomers include, 8 new one-star restaurants along with 14 new Bib Gourmands restaurants.
Le Caneton
"Le Caneton '' is located in Tanimachi roku-chome, which is famous for its retro townscape and gourmet area. As the name suggests, this French restaurant specializes in duck and foie gras dishes. The shop is a renovated house, and its simple and calm space can be used for family, friends, or small gatherings. Lunch is 6,600JPY and dinner is 9,350JPY.
Tanpopo
A stylish teppanyaki restaurant just 1-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station. The counter seats, where the food is prepared right in front of you, are perfect for dates. This restaurant has a wide variety of menus such as steak, seafood, okonomiyaki and yakisoba, in addition you can select a wine that matches your taste from the restaurant's Italian wine cellar. You can order from à la carte or course (from 5,800JPY).
Aozora Blue Main Store
Opened in 2014, it is attracting attention as an up-and-coming Udon restaurant. This place offers two types of udon noodles, a roughly grinded udon made from home-made roughly ground wheat, and an udon blended with that wheat. You can enjoy your Udon with a la carte dishes such as tempura. At lunchtime, you can choose from a set (from 1,170JPY) that comes with sushi rolls and small bowls.
Gastroteka Bimendi
A Spanish restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Basque cuisine with a wide variety of pintxos. The signature dish, “Assorted appetizers and pintxos” (2,000JPY), is a unique menu that allows you to enjoy various ingredients in bite-sized pieces. After lunchtime, there is also a dessert set of traditional Basque sweets (from 880 JPY). suitable for a wide range of situations, such as dining with colleagues, romantic dates, and one of its attractions is its casualness that makes it easy for even one person to enter.

The New World
A modern izakaya affiliated with the Michelin one-star restaurant "sio". It is a shop with a space like a party room with neon art, disco balls on display and a DJ booth. You can enjoy genre-less dishes that go well with alcohol for around 1,000JPY. We recommend "Eggplant Dengaku" (590 JPY) and "Canned New World Sava" (490 JPY).
