White atelier BY CONVERSE as the first directly managed store in Japan was opened on the Cat Street in Harajuku last year. Saki Shibata (from Tokyo Girl's Update) who loves and wares CONVERSE shoes visited the store this time.
A tow-story white-themed shop has a relaxing atmosphere. The first floor is the space for shoes and original items including limited merchandise with a wide range of lineup.
A large selection of shoes in different colors, materials, and styles is available so you may lose track of time choosing the ones. Not only shoe races and charms for customized shoes but also shoe cleaning kits and the shop original stationeries are also sold there.
There is also an atelier in the basement where you can customize the CONVERSE shoes. They have a special printing machine so you can choose your favorite designs and print them on your CONVERSE.
You can customize the store limited white ALLSTAR “REACT” which has the CONVERSE original advanced cup insole. As for High Top, it can be printed on the upper and tongue and it can be printed on the tongue with low top. You can choose from a variety of designs such as the shop original design of CONVERSE logo, numbers and alphabets and also collaboration designs with famous artists.

Saki Shibata selected the Chuck Taylor All Star High Top because she wanted to print on both the upper and tongue. She printed an orange flower on the upper and her initial “S” and birthday number “4” on the tongue. You can also change shoe races or add a charm to make one of kind shoes.
Regular workshops are held at a customized space in the first basement. You should follow the latest information on their website; Famous creators will be your teachers and you can make your original All Star.
You need to book a workshop in advance; however, if you order by 18:00, you can get your shoes customized such as printing on the day. (Please note that the actual time for receiving your customized shoes will vary according to the circumstances.) Please trip to the store when visiting Harajuku!
